Who was Jesus: a prophet, a savior, or God incarnate? For over two thousand years, the identity of Jesus has been at the center of theological debate. Christians revere him as the Son of God and the Redeemer of mankind. Muslims honor him as the Messiah, born of the Virgin Mary, a mighty prophet who called people to worship the One God. But who was he, really? In The Messiah: What the Bible and Qur'an Really Say About Jesus, Raihan Shaheed takes readers on a compelling journey through history, scripture, and faith, uncovering the Jesus of the Bible and the Qur'an, and contrasting Church theology with prophetic truth. This book critically examines: The doctrine of the Trinity and its historical roots Whether Jesus ever claimed divinity The Islamic view of Jesus' mission, miracles, and return The crucifixion: fact or theology?* Paul's influence on Christian doctrine The real meaning of salvation in Islam vs. Christianity Drawing from both the Bible and the Qur'an, and referencing leading historians and theologians, this work is both a bridge between faiths and a challenge to common assumptions. Whether you're a seeker of truth, a student of religion, or someone yearning to know who Jesus truly was, this book offers clarity, insight, and a call to spiritual honesty.
